WCW = We CAN Wednesday: YOU are Beautiful
/For my friends.
ALL women are beautiful. Period.
This is not a politically correct, touchy-feely, kumbaya sentiment for likes and shares. This is a fact. Women are beautiful, and the realization of this fact has been buried for many of us. We have become so used to measuring our beauty against the standards set by a society that is not equipped to handle our God-given radiance. We harshly judge ourselves, not realizing that our beauty is far more valuable and substantial than what this superficial society can comprehend. Our beauty is embedded in our DNA; from our very beginning, we we destined to be fantastically lovely, we are inherently amazing.
My sisters, I want you to remember always that we are beautiful because God, our father, made us that way. When He made us, He declared that we are good. He validated us first, He loved us first. True beauty has nothing to do with the size of our bodies or the length of our hair. It also has nothing to do with the shade of our complexion or clothes in our closet. Beauty is the inner light that was giving to us by our creator. It is our compassion, it is our strength, it is our determination and drive. Beauty is found in the sincerity of our eyes and the gentle touch from our hands. Our beauty is found in our charity, our care for others, and our nurturing spirit.
We were "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Every aspect of our being was deliberately assembled, carefully assigned by the Master Artist. You are a glorious masterpiece. Never forget that.
